Some people expect to speak with a Oscartargeted Floor Coating specialist who handles the job. That is not how it works. Oscartargeted Floor Coating is a referral service. After you request an estimate, you talk with an independent provider in our network. That provider is the one who looks at your floor, builds the quote and does the work.

What a Provider May Ask You

Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider understand the job.

• How big is the garage, basement or slab?
• Is there an old coating, paint or sealer on it?
• Are there cracks, pits, stains or damp spots?
• Do you have photos you can share?
• When would you like the work done?

A lot of homeowners think price is the only thing to compare. It helps to ask more.

• How will you prep the slab, and how long does that take?
• Will you test for moisture before coating?
• What products will you use, and why that one for my floor?
• How do the seasons and temperatures affect timing?
• What does the written quote include?
• How do you handle cracks and repairs?
• What care does the finished floor need?

You are never required to hire a provider. Compare quotes, ask follow-up questions and take your time. Providers set their own prices and schedules, so they will differ. Typical costs vary by job, so always get a written quote.
